NAMUHOPE is an organic and evolving organization operated by founding members, a group of advisors, and experts pooling their resources and expertise. NAMUHOPE’s mission focuses on enhancing the quality of life through human services and the opportunity of continuing education for youth by providing scholarship and financial aid which allow these people to achieve their goals .
Eligibility and Selection
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for a grant, you or your institution’s request must fall within one of the areas listed below and individual or institution must be tax-exempt or a non-profit requesting funds for charitable purposes.
The foundation will consider requests for the following:
Operating expenses
Endowment funds
Capital causes
Multi-year grants (although one-year grants are typical)
The foundation will not consider requests:
From government, political, legislative, or lobbying entities
For specific physical, medical or psychological conditions
From social or fraternal organizations
From faith-based organizations
For medical research
To fund for-profit organizations
Namuhope Foundation does not fund individuals and institutions that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, or sexual orientation in policy or practice.
If your organization is seeking funding for a project that falls within one of the areas listed above, the foundation welcomes you to begin the grant request process by submitting the “Application” button in our website. If your need does not meet the guidelines, the foundation would still like to offer you encouragement and wish you success in helping others in your own way.
Selection
The First Step
When requesting a grant from Namuhope Foundation, make sure your request falls within the eligibility guidelines listed on the above. If it does, you are invited to submit a letter of inquiry to application@namuhope.org.
Make sure you have the following information ready when submitting your letter:

Reviews
Requests are reviewed every day; no deadlines for most of programs. Please check our website for the deadlines of specific programs. Requests approved will be awarded in the time you will be specified; therefore you may need enough times when you submit application for your program.
If a funding request is denied, the foundation will notify the applicant by letter or e-mail and the request will receive no further consideration during that calendar year.
Approved funding requests will receive written notification by mail or e-mail following the review process.
Accepted Funding Requests
If individual’s or your institution’s request is selected for funding you may be asked to submit a formal application, proposal, a budget, and quarterly reports. The forms for these reports will be made available to you electronically.
